Busy Bee

Dress:  Alfred Sung; Shoes:  Michaelangelo for David’s Bridal (The MOST PAINFUL shoes ever!)
I have been a bit of a busy bee since last Thursday, and I am finally able to sit down and write a post!  I hope y’all had a wonderful weekend; mine was rather lovely (minus the sinus headache I’ve had for 3 days)! As I mentioned in last Friday’s SMILE post, one of my best friends, Marla, got married Saturday, so my weekend was full of wedding related activities. Aside from getting in this picture before the wedding, I didn’t have time for any outfit post and spent a great deal of time behind the camera at the bachelorette party and other festivities.
I was hiding from the camera; even though I have a blog, I still get shy when people try to take my picture. :-)  I really loved my outfit that night; I’m going to have to wear it again just to share with y’all!
We had to wear french manicure for the wedding, and since I’m not a fan of french manicure these days, I attempted to do it myself, since it would be coming off the next day…not too bad!
Revlon Top Speed: Lily
Sunday, the day after the wedding, (when I finally got out of bed), I polished my nails before heading to my little cousin’s graduation dinner.  Time wasn’t on my side, so I felt it was the perfect time to try the Revlon Top Speed I bought with my Ulta coupon the other week!  It actually works very well; I will definitely be trying more colors in the quick drying formula!
One of the best parts about Marla’s wedding was, 3 days of seeing my gorgeous friend Tiffany!  Back in the day Marla, Tiffany, and I were like the 3 Musketeers.  To conclude my extremely long weekend of little sleep, I started grad school yesterday!  I have definitely been a little busy bee, but I’m glad things are settling down a bit!
How was your weekend?
