HEY LOVELIES!! Oh how I’ve missed saying that over the last couple of weeks . I hope you all have had a wonderful transition into 2012!! I brought in the new year with a horrible cold, but I am blessed to see a new year and definitely feeling much better!!
As you can see, I have completed the switch from Blogger to WordPress, thanks to the tutorials from Beautifully Invisible, and have redesigned the blog as well! I still have some things to fix, like figuring out how to center my navigation bar at the top (email me if you have a solution for me!), but I couldn’t wait until I figured out my few tweaks to share a post, as I’ve missed you guys
I love the idea of mixing prints! It’s such a fun way to utilize pieces in your closet. Stripes and animal print (though I don’t know what animal these pants are supposed to reflect, lol) are among my favorite prints to pair, along with stripes with floral, leopard with floral, and stripes with tribal print (I guess you can say I like to mix anything and everything .
I was a bit weary of this outfit because I felt the blue in my sweater and the blue in my shoes matched too well (I’m not necessarily big on matching), but the stripes and printed pants break up the possibility of being too matchy.
I realize that I don’t do closeups of my jewelry very often, so I hope to remember to do so more often then year . Don’t you just love my Nakate Project necklace that I am wearing as a bracelet (with my vintage watch that doesn’t work, lol)?! They are having a sale too, so be sure to check it out!
Are you down with the mixed prints? If so, what are some of your favorite parings?
THANK YOU for bearing with me during my 2.5 week break; I really do appreciate each and every one of you that supports Consider Me Lovely!!
HAVE AN AWESOME WEEK DARLINGS!!
