Paisley Confession
Good Monday lovelies!! How are you doing as you start the work week? I am wonderful, as I had a rathe lovely weekend full of business and fun
. Between great messages at church, which is where I wore this outfit, awesome conversations with friends, and amazing things God has placed in front of me and on my heart, I am so inspired as I start this week, and am looking forward to the awesomeness that will be a result!
I have a bit of a confession (that you’ve probably already figured out, lol): I have a very hard time narrowing down pictures for outfit post, especially when I am fortunate to have someone take the pictures for me. When it’s just me and my tripod, I don’t have as much difficulty because I probably only take 10, maybe 15 on a good day, so narrowing it down to 5 is certainly not too difficult. When my nephew, who generally takes my pictures, when I’m not doing it alone, takes pictures of my outfit, there is usually an abundance of pictures, that take me forever to go through and weed out. My nephew took 54 pictures this go round, and I liked almost all of them! lol It is for this reason that my post tend to be more picture heavy than some other blogs you read, so THANK YOU for your understanding and putting up with me.
Maybe I’ll challenge myself someday to do post with just 1 or 2 pictures…someday because I’m not there yet, lol.
I found this vintage paisley skirt in Goodwill about a year ago, and I still love it so! Paisley is one of those prints that tend to keep coming around decade to decade, so I’m thinking this piece is meant to be in my closet for decades. I really love the little specks of red it in, which is surprising considering that I didn’t like red for the longest, but people change
.
Blouse: Claude Bennett- vintage from Imperfect Concepts; Skirt: Orvis- vintage from Goodwill (similar or similar); Belt: EXPRESS; Shoes: Steve Madden- Marshall’s (similar); Clutch: Jason Wu for Target; Necklace: Nakate
Beaded bracelets: gift from one of my best friends (soon available at Imperfect Concepts Boutique); Sunglasses: Xhileration- Target
Friday night I spent some time playing in my hair and trying out new hairstyle experiments while watching TV. This is the end result, and I LOVE IT!! I experience such excitement when an experiment comes out just right, if not better
. Do you get excited when that happens too?!?
I’m also pretty peeked because this is my 300th post!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR READING AND VIEWING Consider Me Lovely! When I started this blog, as a wedding blog, in November 2010, I never thought I would have such wonderful readers, or even still be writing, as I can be a bit inconsistent at times. I truly appreciate y’all!!
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK LOVELIES!

I like the way you carry your outfit, so vintage in style but doesn’t mean that your old.i want to try this style, looks more fashionable way in back 90′s.
