Spring Bloom

Good Monday darlings!!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  I finally washed my extremely dirty car on Saturday and ran some errands , and then had a lovely Easter Sunday of church service, time spent with my niece and nephew, cooking, and writing this blog post :-).  This skirt is so vibrant and pretty; after discovering that my Topshop dress shrunk in the dryer and the hem of my blush skirt was coming undone, it called out to me, on Sunday morning! lol

I love how the sun is peeking over my head and face in these pictures!  It makes me think of how God is always shining, even in darkness :-).

Top: LC Lauren Conrad- Kohl’s (similar); Skirt: unknown- vintage gift (floral with similar colors); Shoes: Jessica Simpson- Marshall’s; Handbag: Zara

I bought these Jessica Simpson shoes at Marshall’s maybe 2 years ago…such a great buy!  Get a similar pair here or here .

I must say my nephew is getting pretty good on the camera; I adore the shots he took of my wrist soirees and ring parties yesterday!  I am going to miss having an in house (on weekends when school is out) photographer living with me, lol.

Is it just me or does this skirt scream Spring to you too? I don’t know much about gardening and flowers, but I’ve heard that flowers bloom in Spring.  At this point of my life, I feel like there is some pruning going on and some major blooming preparing to happen in my life, and I am scared, anxious, and excited about it!
