Festival Casual
Hey there darlings! Happy hump day to you!! A few weeks ago, I went to the International Festival with my nephew and Reiko. It was warm out, but a previous day of brought a insane about of dine, so I wanted to dress for it all! I don’t wear shorts often because the ones I find in the store are way too short and/or tight, so my hunt for short’s like these vintage one’s that I discovered in my mom’s closet continues, as does my attachment to these red beauties
.
Whenever I wear this shirt, I hope someone get’s inspired to be the change they wish to see in the world, even if they don’t tell me
.
We ran into my friend Ashley, whose company, Medley Inc., handled the pr for the Ifest this year!
My nephew and I shared a turkey leg! I hadn’t had one in years, and it was everything I hoped it would be and more, lol.
He HAD to have the volcano drink, but how could I blame him? It looked pretty cool, but didn’t taste that great (to me, lol).
Duster: Pegasus- vintage from Decades (similar); Shirt: Lucy and Carmen; Shorts: Unknown- vintage from mom’s closet (similar here or here); Shoes (sold out buy these are similar) and Handbag- Zara
I’m pretty sure I was talking some trash to Reiko in this picture, lol.
I don’t know why, but I have such an affinity for shadows and silhouettes, so I’m pretty smitten with these photos.
I must give a shot out to the lovely Reiko for taking the pictures!! Oh yeah, check out her blog to see the re-design I did for her
.

I. Love. This. Outfit! It’s gotta be one of my favs!

This is the PERFECT look for a festival! I truly love it to the point that I think that it might be one of my faves of yours! I looooooove your duster sooooo much and those shorts are perfect. I don’t like short shorts either and that is all they seem to sell in department stores anymore! Ugh! Thank goodness for thrifting!
