LOVELIES! How are y’all doing? Monday is here, and I hope you had a great weekend and are ready to have a great week! I had a pretty lovely weekend, which included final touches on reorganizing my office (which used to double as my niece and nephew’s game room until a week ago), attending my little cousin’s basketball game (I’m pretty sure I embarrassed him with my yelling, lol), a yummy brunch, time with one of my best friends, some leisure reading, and a wonderful church service . Now, I am ready to face this week’s to-do list head on!! Do you write to-do list? If so, what’s your key to completing all of the things on it?
I wore this to run errands Friday afternoon. My quest for a long maxi skirt continues, so I am still wearing this dress as a skirt, like I first tried out back in October. I’m still very smitten with the print, and my chambray shirt has become my go to throw on piece these days! I’m going to need another soon .
(I felt so weird smiling at my camera and tripod lol. Oh and pardon my bushy eyebrows; I’ve been let tin them grow back for a few months after the lady over waxed one brow back in February, which is why I prefer threading.)
I’ve really been wanting to get into wearing scarves in my hair (and if any of you can figure out how I can get all of my hair in a turban I’d be grateful!), so when Scarves Dot Net offered to give a scarf of my choice, I was excited!! I went witht his beautiful silk scarf because of the awesome colors, print, which you can’t really see, and the silk of course . I adore how it just adds a pop color to my outfit!
What is your errand running style? Mine is definitely easy, casual, and cute. I love my heels, as they make up 97% of my shoes, but going from store to store in 5″ heels is so not my thing (on most days), lol.
P.S. Shout out to Reiko for hipping me to the scarf as a cute headband/bow thing! I’ve been tying my curls back with scarves all weekend.
