Color Combinations

There is no true method to my madness when I get dressed.  I wear what calls out to me, combine whatever colors want to be combined for the day, and pair whichever prints want to hangout together for the day.  In the same manner I don’t really think out the colors I’ll wear on my nails for the week (with the exception of playing around with design ideas/attempts on paper), and I don’t surely don’t take into consideration what I’ll wear for the week, when I pick polish color(s).  If I took the time to match my nails to my outfit, I’d be changing my polish everyday, lol.

When I did my nails in the teal with neon yellow and neon pink combo, I just thought the colors were fun together, but later in the week, I remembered this post where wore a neon yellow skirt and teal sweater.  The only thing missing was my neon pink clutch from this post :-).

Piggy Polish:  Around Sundown; Milani:  Totally 80’s; Julep:  Daphne

If you like to polish your nails or get your nails polish, have you ever noticed that you’ve paired the same or similar colors in your outfits as well as on your nails?

So, one day I am going to step my nail painting game up! This post inspired me…one day.

I met you at the Texas Style Council. Love your blog as well as your use of vintage pieces. Best!

I do that too! I find that I have certain colours that just wind up together, on my nails and in my outfits. Like hot pink and green, and red and white, and purple and black.

I loooove these nails! The color combo is so fresh, but with a small nod to the 90s I feel. Super cute dip dye blazer too! xx
