Lightly Layered

Hey there darlings!!  How was your weekend?  My weekend was prety great, and I must admit I’m not looking too forward to the Mondays, as I have a lot of school work to catch up on by tomorrow, lol.  I really have to figure out how to balance everything going on in my life :-).

This weekend the weather stayed in the 80’s, and while I appreciated the slight drop in temperature, it was still too hot for the layers I am itching to wear.  So, on Sunday, I took the opportunity to layer lightly with this sheer vintage uster/jacket that I received as a birthday gift from Tasha, after stalking it in her store, Imperfect Concepts, for months!  I love the idea of a whole outfit peeking through the sheer black, so I definitely plan to wear this duster over and over again before I need some actual layers, lol.

Tank and Skirt:  Forever 21 (similar skirt); Duster:  Sue Barett- vintage c/o Imperfect Concepts (similar); Shoes: Guess w/ feather DIY; Zebra Clutch Cover: Clutched & Covered

Remember when I told y’all in last week’s post that I was hoping to have gotten my hair dyed again to the teal color I wanted by this week’s outfit post?  Well, I did, and I LOVE it!! It’s certainly not your average dye job, lol, but I am so happy, and it was worth the two weeks of the color step one of the dye process left me with, hehe.

How do you layer when you’re ready for Fall, but you’e still feeling the Summer temps?!  Or do you not even try?

P.S. I’m a featured Frockstar over on Karina Chronicles today, so check it out when you can :-).
