Good Monday to you lovelies!!!  How was your weekend?  My weekend was pretty good :-).  I got some business work done, hung out with some friends, watched my nephew play football and my niece cheer, and spent time with my cousins playing photographer for my little cousin who may be getting into acting.  I wouldn’t mind an extra day to sleep in and not be busy, but I am looking forward to this week of checking things off my to-do list (or so I hope, lol)!

Last week I needed to take a dreaded trip to the mechanic for some regular maintenance and to get some issues checked out, but I was not (nor am I ever really) in the mood for sitting at the mechanic, so I called one of my best friends and we had a late breakfast/early lunch instead :-).  I’m all about turning lemons into lemonade honey!!  We had a wonderful time together; the food was extra tasty (I had catfish and grits), and when I picked up my car, the thing I thought might be a big bill, was something minor that cost me nothing :-).  Anyways,  this is what I wore, lol.

Sweatshirt and Shorts: Disney and Mossimo- Target (similar shorts); Shoes: Zara (similar); Clutch:  ASOS (similar or this pink option); Chevron Clutch Cover™ :  Clutched & Covered

I am always looking for easy and quick hairstyles to try on my hair so that I don’t walk around with it down covering my face all of the time.  Last week, I decided to combine two hair style I’ve worn before into a double twist with a low side ponytail hair style that I’ve been wearing for almost a week straight :-).

When I was around 5 years old, my mom took me to see Bambi, and it instantly stole my heart.  22 years later, when I saw this sweatshirt at Target, I just HAD to have it!! I’m not really one for animated character stuff, but I’ve always loved Bambi (even saw it at the movie theater when it came back out about a year ago), which means I couldn’t leave it in the store, lol.  What about you?  Are there any animated/cartoon characters that you still go crazy for?  If so, how do you incorporate them into your wardrobe?

  • Very nice weekend outfit! I would totally wear something like this! Too bad the weather in Minnesota has turned, or I would steal this one! lol!

I’m glad that your car issues worked out to not cost an arm and a leg. I know that was a relief! Whew!

As far as Disney, or cartoon characters, I’ve always had a soft spot for Tinkerbell. I just love her little slippers with the puffball on them. Don’t laugh at me… well, maybe you can a little bit. hehe!
