We were lucky enough to get about two days of cooler weather over the weekend, so I took that as my opportunity to pull out the striped sweater dress from this post or this post for church Sunday! However, I didn’t want to wear it the same way, which I find to be my greatest difficulty with dresses. So, I threw a slightly oversized sweater over it, for a pencil skirt look, and a touch of leopard
.
While I am good for chopping something up and turning it into two pieces, I really love this dress (a full body of stripes is so fun), so I’ll stick to wearing it as a skirt or top (soon) instead. When wearing pieces like jumpsuits, dresses, and rompers, you can revamp the piece buy wearing is as separates instead.
Sweater: Sweater: no brand- Target boy’s section (similar); Dress: Old Navy (similar); Bag: Zara; Shoes: Jessica Simpson- Dillard’s; Necklace: Unknown- vintage gift
Isn’t this necklace amazing?! Tasha sent it to me a few weeks ago (you should totally check out her shop Imperfect Concepts), after wearing it one time during New York Fashion Week because she knew I’d wear it far more than she. It’s great having friends that are giving and know me so well
.
These photos helped me realize how much I’ve worn out my precious Zara bag, lol. Do you have a handbag that you’ve worn out because it’s just so perfect?
Have a fabulous Hump Day darlings; the weekend is just 2 days away!!

So unexpected yet so perfect
This look-I’ve been swooning over it since I saw it on instagram. You rocked this. And those shoes-HONAY!!! I love it!

You look super cute. I love the facial expression during the shoot. Isnt the sweater from the boy section at Target? I seen a cute one in the girls section yesterday. It was black with pink hearts.
