Hey there lovelies!!! HAPPY Monday to you!! The Thanksgiving holiday/weekend was so lovely and relaxing (can you believe I didn’t go out shopping on Black Friday?!!), so I was really unhappy with my alarm clock when it went off this morning, lol. How was your weekend? I was able to spend time with my family listening to zydeco music, hung out with some friends, and played model with Reiko for a Holiday themed project she’s working on (I can’t wait to share the pics with you guys!). So my weekend was full, which is just what I needed .
Sweatshirt and Belt: Forever 21 (similar sweatshirt from ASOS); Skirt: Laurence Kazar- vintage from my mom (this vintage mint option is dreamy); Shoes: Guess- DSW; Clutch: Unknown- thrifted; Leopard Clutch Cover™: Clutched & Covered™
I’m still trying figure out why it has taken me 3 months to make myself a leopard clutch cover, considering that it’s one of the faves among customers, but I’m glad I came to my senses. Leopard is such a fun neutral!!
If you follow me on Twitter, then you’ve heard me mention that sweatshirts are my obsession over sweaters for the Fall! I’ve had a few for a few years now, but I hardly wore them, and now I am always on the look out for really great ones. I think a sweatshirt related DIY is even on the horizon . I’ve been wearing them with jeans, shorts, and booties, a lot lately, but on Sunday morning I decided to pair one of my sweatshirts with vintage chiffon. Who knew the two would make for such a lovely pairing?!
It’s good to play around with the pieces in our closet and mix and match unlikely items from time to time (or all of the time ). What have you paired from your closet that surprised you by how much you liked them together?
