Consider Me Dotted

Good Tuesday to you darlings!!  I hope your weekend was great and your week off to a wonderful start!  One of my best friend’s had her baby over the weekend, so that new life made for a smile worthy weekend.  However, I have been been feeling a bit under the weather for a few days, so I’m going to keep my words extra light this post :-).

What do you think of mixing polka dots with polka dots or other like prints with each other?  Is it something you’d try? It’s the first time I’ve mixed the same print, and I am pretty smitten with how it turned out, even if you can’t tell from the pictures (my sinus problems were kicking my butt when I took these, lol).

I LOVE IT. (I would never be bold enough to wear it but never say never) this reminded me of a “rule” I learned as a kid about mixing patterns–it worked best in a 1:3 ratio, like if the dots were 3 times larger than the checks. But I notice that your dots are roughly the same size and they really pop. maybe because they are in the same color family of cool tones? And BTW, I thinkt the red shoes are the perfect counterpoint to the dots. they hold their own.

I also came here from ‘Already Pretty’ and had to tell you how lovely the polka dots-on-dots are, and I love your whole ensemble, including your red shoes! Just lovely! I wish I could create such combinations here at home. I do try, but I’m never this successful! Thanks for the inspiration! :o)

surfed on over from Already Pretty to say that this outfit is AMAZING. I LOVE the strong colour combo, and the dots-on-dots. The red is the perfect, bold punch of WOW on your heels – you’ve really got an eye. Thanks for sharing your super-inspiring look!

YOU LOOK FABULOUS. And yes, I had to use all caps. BECAUSE I AM YELLING THIS! I LOVE the dots, but also the color mix is sheer genius! navy/jade with the pop of red is done to sweet perfection like a Stephen Hawking equation on the meaning of the universe. LOVELY!!! (<–I am yelling again.)

First off I have to say I love the connection you are making! This ensemble is really making a fashion statement! However I don’t see where the red comes into set the look…Maybe a white open-toe platform heel to give that subtle pop of color or a multicolored heel would work. I like your choice of jewelry. Other than that the look is fabulous!

I love your bags!!! I will definitely share your link on my blog and you can be sure that I will use your creations in my upcoming photo shoots! Also do you have any hairstyle tutorials you would like to share and links to wear I can purchase some of your jewelry choices??? I would love to get your input on a few ideas as well. Thanks for being so fabulous!

I love the polka-dots-on-polka-dots look. I would never have thought to mix the same print in one outfit, but this looks fantastic! I usually mix various prints, but not like this. You’re a genius!
