Hey dears!!! I hope you had a great weekend and your week is off to a wonderful start! Aside from my last days at the part-time job I’d picked up a few months ago, I had a lovely weekend of relaxing, shopping, and time with loved ones. What more can a girl ask for, aside from maybe a great date with a cute guy? Lol
I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned it before, but I tend to be one of those people who likes to put casual aside when it comes to getting dressed for church. However, this Sunday, I just wanted to wear these jeans! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen parts of these jeans over the last few months. I can’t find a good pair of boyfriend jeans, that are actually loose in the hip/butt area, to save my life! So, I picked up these jeans during a thrifting trip, used my scissors, knife, and washing machine to make my own! I wear them ALL of the time, probably too much, but Sunday was my first time trying them with a beaded top. I’m kinda loving the combination, and totally see myself wearing these jeans with my other vintage beaded/sequin tops as Fall tries to breeze in :-).
Have you found the perfect boyfriend jean? If you’re a churchgoer, what do you wear when you want to be casual at service?
Today’s Tip: If you can’t find what you are looking for in the store, make your own. Vintage beading and sequins is of better quality than that in stores today, so if you want a little sparkle, head to your local thrift store, relative’s closet, or online store, like Imperfect Concepts.
P.S. Pardon, the crazy lighting/glare situation happening in the pics today. I don’t know how it happened, but I’m going to have to check on the images as my photographer/nephew takes them next time :-).
