I don’t know about you, but I love that high end designers are doing collaborations with affordable brands and stores, even I dont always like the clothes. Many people will never be able to afford, $500 Missoni shoes, or a $200 Versace t-shirt. However, I will never understand the craze that these collaborations cause, lol.  There are very few things that I’ll wait in line for, and it’s not a collaboration line!

Like most people, I was excited to learn that 3.1 Phillip Lim would be collaborating with Target, and I instantly knew I wanted this sweatshirt. Unlike some of my other stylish pals, I didn’t go anywhere near Target when the line released, but when I walked into a Target that I don’t usually visit a few days later, this sweatshirt, and a skirt I’d been eyeing  from the line were waiting for me :-). They were the last ones, in my size, and no day of release madness…SCORE!!!

Sweatshirt:  Phillip Lim x Target; Pants: GAP; Shoes:  Pour la Victoire- The Outnet (get them here)

Do you like the collaboration lines stores are doing these days?  Did you get anything from the Phillip Lim x Target collaboration?

Today’s Tip:  When thinking of color combinations, feel free to take it back to elementary school and wear primary colors.

P.S.  These pants fit me like a glove; I’m rather smitten!

  • Clearly, you were meant to own that sweatshirt. And it looks fantastic on you. I love the way you’ve styled it with the pops of bright colour.

  • you look super cute. I now want the boom sweater. My store has a bunch of stuff on clearance I will see if this one. This outfit is perfection.

  • I’m not one for the hype of collaborations with department stores either, but I did go get this sweatshirt as well. It is just too cute to pass up. And, ironically, I have been way into sweatshirts as well lately!

  • Love, as always. Thank heavens sweatshirts have made a comeback. I’m always cold! Sadly, I got nothing from the Philip Lim collection for Target. I wanted the yellow Mini Pashli, but I was not keeping up with the launch at all. Hm. I guess that means I didn’t really want it.
