I’m big on revamping my clothes. Giving my clothes a new purposes and look, reorganizing my closet, impromptu alterations, these are all necessary tools in my style arsenal.  These shorts used to be jeans, but the leg became too stretched out, and my head wrap was once a vintage skirt, but instead of getting rid of them, I decided to give each piece a new life!  Much like these clothes from my dessert date outfit Saturday, sometimes our lives need a revamp.  I can’t speak for you, but I could certainly use a revamp in certain areas of my life.

“If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t really living.” – Gail Sheehy

Maybe it’s time to choose a new career path.  Sometimes relationships need to end.  Possibly, you simply want to try a a new coloring your wardrobe.  Whatever it may be, today is as good a day as any to make changes.  Oftentimes a revamp is needed in life, if for no other reason but to get out of a position of stagnation.  What do you need to revamp in your life?

Thank you to my beautiful friend Reiko for meeting me for a rainy day dessert date and taking these photos.
