Shopping The Block

HEY there lovelies!!  I hope you’ve all had a fantastic weekend (3 day weekend for those of you with Columbus day off)!!  I actually had a pretty fun weekend, which even included hanging out with bloggers and the folks from Refinery29 and Simon Malls.  I usually don’t attend many blogger related events, mostly because I’m a bit of an introvert and find myself easily bored, but I’m glad I got out of the bed Saturday morning to head out to Houston Premium Outlets!

The day started with a VIP reception for bloggers, where we mingled (well I kinda observed from a corner, lol), nibbled on light bites, and sipped on mimosas in the modern and beautiful Eli Tahari store.

We then headed over to the space for the  Refinery29 + Simon Malls “The Shopping Block” space, where we met people from the Refinery29 team and got a preview of the event space before it opened to the public.

The DJ was awesome, and there were so many wonderful local indie shops selling their wares.  I even walked away with an epic vintage jumpsuit, form Vida Antigua, that I can’t wait to wear!

Any event with a DIY station is a fun event for me, and I just love my blinged out tote!  Now to figure out what I will actually carry in it, lol.

I’ll probably go back into my cave now, but I had a blast, and hanging out with my blogger pal Brittani, of Brilliance of B, was icing on the cake!

If this event is coming to your area, I highly recommend you check it out (And no they didn’t pay or tell me to say that)!  Find out if they are coming to your area here.
