Ruffled Memories

Some of my fondest childhood memories involve ruffle socks! I used to love getting dressed on Sundays, when my momma would lay a pair of ruffle socks out with my dress. I hated when she'd lay stockings out for me, lol. Around second grade, I convinced my mom to let me wear my "church socks" to school with sneakers, and that CHANGED THE GAME!

Over the years, I've considered buying ruffled socks, but didn't for one reason or another, but thanks to some extra time sitting around the house, I decided to make my own! I've DIY'd a few pairs of Nike ruffle lace socks {check out my DIY video here!} over the last month, but I'll be moving on to regular/non-athletic socks soon.

They're just socks, but they bring me so much joy! I even walk around the house in them, without wearing sneakers some times, lol.
